2019 UCDA Competition

Taylor Design received six awards in the 2019 UCDA Competition. The winning entries include Sarah Lawrence College’s alumni magazine, the University of New Haven alumni magazine, Brigham & Women’s Hospital’s magazine, the New Hampton School viewbook, and Dana Hall School’s “Vision 2025″ book and website. Designers include Hannah F.StephSteve, and BriaHannah W. programmed the Dana Hall School website.

2019 CADC Awards Show Winners

Our team earned 11 awards at the 45th Annual CT Art Directors Club Awards Show, including work for Mount Sinai Health System, The University of New Haven, Brigham Health, Sarah Lawrence College, Dana Hall School, Hudson Valley Fisheries, New Hampton School, and our studio. Congratulations all, including attendees from left to right Dan, Laura, Cindy, Iris, Hannah, Steve, Bria, Kailee, Nora, and Chris.

Creative Quarterly 56

Our 2019 Taylor Design Calendar entry has been selected to be published in Creative Quarterly 56, which will go live in October 2019. It was designed by Bria, written by Stacey, illustrated by Cindy, printed by Printech, and conceived by the Taylor Design team.

Rocket Pop Featured in WAG Magazine

Steve, Cindy, and their tri-colored Rocket Pop are featured in the June 2019 issue of WAG Magazine. The article by Bob Rozycki, titled “Go’N Spacey,” profiles the artists who painted the UFOs and rockets for Stamford’s Space Invasion public art exhibit. 2019 Stamford Boys & Girls Club 5K

The 2019 Stamford Boys & Girls Club 5K attracted over 2,000 runners. Our team this year included (from left to right) Dan Taylor, Steve Habersang, Connie Tao, Iris Tao, Cindy Lau, and Hannah Fichandler. Chris Taylor, who photographed this image, also ran with us. Over $200,000 were raised to benefit the Stamford Boys & Girls Club.

Space Invasion 2019

Steve Habersang and Cindy Lau’s fun and colorful concept “Rocket Pop!” was selected for Stamford Downtown’s 2019 Space Invasion outdoor sculpture exhibit. They have been hard at work on their 8-foot tall sculpture in a studio space on Atlantic Street. It goes on display for the summer the first week of June. At the end of the exhibit, the spacecraft will be sold at auction with proceeds benefitting the Veterans Park Initiative.

Fishery Client Featured in the New York Times

Our client Hudson Valley Fisheries was profiled in The New York Times on March 18th. Their signature product, New York Steelhead, is farmed in an indoor facility and raised without hormones or antibiotics. Our design and interactive team of Hannah Fichandler and Chris Yerkes created the company’s new logo, brand style, and website.  Website content written by Heidi Raker of RG Narrative. Client Featured in the New York Times

Our client Green Chimneys was profiled in The New York Times on March 1st. A school for special-needs children located in Putnam County, N.Y., Green Chimneys pioneered the idea that emotionally challenged children could gain confidence and become socially adept by caring for animals.
