Our studio’s work earned awards at the 2015 Annual CT Art Directors Club Awards Show on June 25th at Marquee Events in Hartford, including two gold awards for the Turning Point website (for the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services) and the 2015 Taylor Design holiday calendar; three silver awards for the Transylvania University admissions website, the fall 2014 issue of Sarah Lawrence College’s alumni magazine, and the fall 2014 issue of Columbia University’s Ideas @ Work magazine; an excellence award for the Ravago Recycling Group logo; and the “Judges” award for the 2015 Taylor Design holiday calendar. Steve, Justine, Dan, and Kellie display the awards in the lobby.

The 2015 Stamford Boys & Girls Club 5K attracted the largest crowd yet, with over 1,600 runners. Our team included Steve Habersang, Justine Braisted, Steph and Rick Mullins, Hannah and Eric Wool, Dan Taylor, Hannah Fichandler, Mike DeRepentigny, Jodi Olinsky, and Clem and Tyler Pascarella. Justine (bottom photo right along with Steph Mullins) was our team’s top gun, clocking a time of 21:44 and finishing 8th among 783 female racers. Photo below taken at World of Beer, where we gathered pre-race (water) and post-race (beer). Over $200,000 was raised to benefit the Stamford Boys & Girls Club.

We received notice from GDUSA that our work was selected as a winner in the 2015 American Web Design Awards. The project chosen was the Transylvania University admissions microsite, which was coordinated by Keating Associates, designed by Steve Habersang, and programmed by Chris Yerkes.

Each week, the PaperSpecs Gallery selects new projects to profile in their Paper Inspiration video series. Our “Film Fest” 2015 calendar, designed by Steve Habersang, illustrated by Vaughn Fender, and conceived by everyone at Taylor Design, was selected for this honor. Founded by Sabine Lenz, she and her team keep track of the changes, cancellations of existing lines, and the number of new paper releases in the marketplace.

To celebrate 100 years of the AIGA, the Brand Central chapter sought designs for 100 beer bottles. Five of our studio’s designs were selected for inclusion into the centennial “Cheers” Notebook, including the two below by Vaughn Fender and Steph Mullins. Here’s a toast to the love of brands, beer, and great design.

Our 2015 Holiday Calendar is currently featured in the PaperSpecs Gallery. The concepts for the twelve panels were developed by the entire Taylor Design staff and it was designed by Steve Habersang and illustrated by Vaughn Fender. The copywriter was Stacey Resnikoff and the printer was Printech. Every quarter a special guest judge will select one entry from the top 10 people’s choice votes for the “Take Note” Award. Hopefully we’ll have the winner.

Taylor Design received three awards in the 2014 UCDA Competition. The winning entries included the Spring 2014 issue of “Sarah Lawrence” magazine designed by Hannah Fichandler, the 2014 “Incredibly Sarah Lawrence” admissions poster designed by Hannah Fichandler and Vaughn Fender, and the Winter 2014 issue of Columbia Business School’s “Ideas at Work” publication (below), designed by Stephanie Mullins.

Taylor Design received four awards in the 2014 American Graphic Design Awards Competition, presented by Graphic Design USA Magazine. The projects honored include the winter 2014 issue of the alumni magazine for Sarah Lawrence College designed by Hannah Fichandler, a recruitment poster designed by Hannah Fichandler and Vaughn Fender, a case statement for Greenwich Academy designed by Stephanie Mullins Mullins, and the 2014 Taylor Design holiday calendar designed by Steve Habersang and illustrated by Vaughn Fender.

Our studio’s work earned awards at the 2014 Annual CT Art Directors Club Awards Show on June 12th at the New Haven Country Club, including a gold award for the 2013 CADC Awards Competition campaign; three silver awards for the MasterCard Career Development Center website, the fall 2013 issue of Sarah Lawrence College’s alumni magazine, and the 2013 Sarah Lawrence College Admissions poster; and the “Spirit of Creativity” award for the 2013 CADC Awards Competition campaign. Vaughn, Hannah, and Bria stacked some hardware at our studio’s table.
